The round in three lines

Tasmania JackJumpers played twice and won both -- 84-82 on their own floor over Melbourne United in the round's tightest finish, then 109-99 away at Brisbane three days later. Two games, two results, both ways.

Adelaide 36ers had the busiest week on the board, and the toughest. Three games, three losses -- a 22-point defeat at home to Illawarra Hawks, a 16-point loss to the New Zealand Breakers, then a 91-96 loss to Melbourne United to close the round.

South East Melbourne Phoenix's 113-96 win over Illawarra Hawks was the round's highest-scoring game at 209 points between them, just ahead of Brisbane's 99-109 shootout with Tasmania.

A round that splits evenly between home and away is the kind that actually tests a tipping comp -- the easy picks from rounds 1 and 2 don't repeat themselves. A TippingMates ladder updates the moment the last siren sounds, whichever way the results break.
